Johan Cruyff doesn't like long-term contracts and told El PeriĆ³dico:
"Three, four years is good, but not long-term contracts like the one of Messi at Barcelona. Players need motivations to do their job, you can't relax in sports. It's good to keep your champions, but a contract until 2016 is too long". (Source)
