Iniesta Moves Into Fifth Spot In Bestplayerintheworld.com Poll

Days after the Champions League Final in Rome, the fans of the world continue keep Andres Iniesta on the radar and vote for him.

The Barca player who scored the match winning semi-final goal at Stamford Bridge and who was called the best player in the world by Wayne Rooney after his performance in Rome, has now moved into fifth spot in our bestplayerintheworld.com rankings.

If FIFA were using our poll, Iniesta would be one of the five finalists invited to their World Player ceremonies in January 2010. But of course FIFA doesn't survey the fans, they survey the world's managers and captains.

Besides, even in our poll, there is a long way to go before we close the voting in December and finally declare the best player in the world for 2009.
